How DAA Ready Originated
As part of my 2024 application for Pilot within the Royal Navy I had to undertake the DAA, much like yourself. Preparation was a real struggle as resources were limited and the only targeted practice resources were from the official RAF website. You'll know yourself that there are a limited number of questions for this therefore I had to find more content to practice with. I eventually found a specialised DAA question pack that was around £30/month. It seemed a bit steep but it was worth it in my eyes, as I'd take all the revision I could take.
After passing the DAA, CBAT was next. If you thought DAA resources were tough to find then you'd have been in for a shock with CBAT. At the time, there was a CBAT app on the marketplace which again I bought as I wanted to squeeze as much preparation in as was possible.

It was only until I had completed my CBAT that I realised just how lacking the existing CBAT resources were. I decided I needed to build something better. I learned how to design and code a mobile app that mirrors the real tasks, with clear section guides and realistic timing. From there, CBAT Ready was born — a single, focused place to practise properly.

Shortly after this, it became apparent that I should be doing the same for the DAA, and thus, DAA Ready had also found it's place onto the market.

Fast forward to today, both these apps have thankfully helped thousands of candidates (and counting) to pass and move onto the next stage of their journey!
